Works great I conditioned them for a week before letting the net all the way down. Caught 13 with two of them over 350 lbs , one at 200 plus and the others from 50 to 80 lbs. I had some neighbors who were skeptical about whether it would hold the large ones but they were really impressed. I left my post in place and stored my net while it's really hot weather. But I already have some more hogs starting to show up at the trap site so I have started to condition them. The Pig Brig really is a great trapping system!
We finally got it set up last Friday night, it took a while since the ground is so dry. We put the food and dropped the net and left at about 8 o’clock at night. We were so tired we forgot about the conditioning phase…😵💫
On Saturday morning we woke up early, grabbed our coffee, got in the Polaris and drove to see our Pig Brig and much to our surprise… We had 14 in the trap!!! 👏🏻 And were very MAD! One boar, two sows and 11 piglets! It’s amazing how strong they are, and when they hit the net, it stays in place!

Learning about it! Had a Boar get in it and 30 mins later he tore through it! But I got it fixed and caught the 9 the nest night! This trap will save a lot of damage to the farm from them !
I received my Pig Brig and set it up. Being my first time I made a couple of mistakes. I called and received the best customer service I’ve ever had and pointed suggestions which fixed my problem. With the Pig Brig Trap, the pigs trap themselves! The setup was easy, The videos were very helpful. I am so glad that I purchased the sewn-in cap, as those pigs would have jumped out otherwise. I recommend the rebar addition. Customer support is excellent! Thanks
Happy with it so far. Had a racoon get in the night that I set it for the first time. It couldn't get out and messed up my first catch. Next time that I set it, I will stand a limb up against the net so a coon can climb out. I only caught two and of course, a racoon. They are now coming back after nearly a week and will be setting it again in a couple of days, hopefully with better results.
Sounder we were watching when we ordered met a rain of bullets prior to us setting it up! What’s left has disappeared. Couple big boars around trap but haven’t caught them yet. Easy to set up following instructions. Expect new sounder to show in future so maybe some luck then.
PS…just caught the boar!!!
This “sounder” seemed a little weird to me. The large one was a boar that would weigh easily 250 lbs. and was the only adult in the group.

Is it normal to have a lone boar with a bunch of young pigs?
I set the trap up, which was pretty easy with the instructions that were given. I conditioned the hogs for three days and then I set the trap to catch. The next morning. I had 31 hogs. Waited a week set the trap again and caught 10 more. I plan to set the trap again Saturday.
We’ve caught 46 total since purchasing. Finding out what would draw them in was a little challenging in the beginning. We found that they love kool aid in the corn. Cut the conditioning time down to 4 days.
Worked like a champ, cut a 20ft circle in my cedar trees and erected the net without the need for posts. Allowed the hog to get adjusted to the net for 4days then put the sides down. Caught him the next day.

Hey Tommy, good question! During testing, we found that heavier-gauge stakes can bend and are more difficult to straighten. We chose a sturdy, lighter-gauge material that’s easier to reshape but still maintains its integrity after straightening.

My Pig Brig has been a god send for my land management plan. Caught 37 pigs over the last 2 months.
7 coons got in the first trap set night and seemed to deter the pigs. (However 2 baby pigs did get in all by themselves). The coons have been chewing up the net near the top trying to get out. Seems the youngs coons can't figure out how to get out, but the bigger ones can. Also had trouble with young cows getting in. One electric fence wire at about 36" deterred the cows. After dispatching all the trapped coons, the following night I caught 38 pigs!
Outstanding trap one person can put it up and it's so easy to do I highly recommend this it's easy to store you're not having to move panels and worry about how you're going to transport them to the spot I was totally surprised and I'm a wildlife trapper here in Florida and we do a lot of tags near the highways and airports again highly recommended thank you
Caught this big boar this morning. He will not be tearing up my yard any more. Impressive how strong the netting is. He was ramming it with amazing power.
Had excellent results, set up alone in a few hours, baited for two days, set trap and first night caught 27 pigs. Had no tears in traps, would recommend to anyone wanting results.
Boar shield was easy to replace. Replaced on our original pig Brig purchased 5 years ago. We had a boar cut through in March and we caught him again. We love our Pig Brig. 46 hogs this year so far.

Set up was not hard, but I couldn't do it within an hour. Younger person might get it within an hour. Took me a little over 2 hours, but I'm 70. I have had it up a little over 3 weeks now and have a total of 41 taken care of so far. I don't think I have had one get out yet so its taking all the punishment boars can give it. So far the only area that has taken any damage at all is where the net attaches to the Tpost. A few of the cords in the small net have torn. I think that is because the threads on the ubolt are cutting it as the big boars jump onto it. Glad I opted for the sewn in cap as I think it has prevented an escape. Over all its doing a fine job catching and holding pigs. I haven't had to move it. I think that's because I am catching everything that comes by. I caught 4 single boars, a group of 6, a group of 14, and a group of 17.
The system was straightforward to set up. Initially I struggled with getting the hogs to actually enter the set trap when baiting with just corn (only caught one). But when I baited the trap with some fermented corn/koolaid mixture and hog attractant, I got 6 on the second night of setting the trap. I look forward to catching the other sounder that is menacing our area.
One other issue I did run into was unintentionally catching raccoons, but I’ve since set up a separate nearby trap for them.
