Pig Brig Support Specialist (US Remote, preference CT, GA, FL, SC, TX)

At Pig Brig® Trap Systems, our mission is to empower landowners and land managers worldwide with practical, science-based insights and field-proven tools to protect land, life, and livelihoods from the destruction and diseases caused by wild pigs. As a Pig Brig Support Specialist, your role is critical to this mission. You will help customers succeed by offering personalized support, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to effectively use the Pig Brig Trap System and other products. In this role, you will serve as the frontline for customer inquiries, troubleshooting, and guidance across multiple platforms, assisting customers in implementing and optimizing our products to achieve successful results in their efforts to manage wild pig populations. You will collaborate with internal teams to maintain detailed customer records, relay customer feedback, and contribute to ongoing product improvements by incorporating real-world insights from the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers via calls, emails, texts, and online requests to provide product support and information and ensure customer satisfaction. 
  • Resolve customer concerns by balancing customer happiness with business objectives. 
  • Assist with order placements and ensure accurate, timely completion of transactions. 
  • Use proactive problem-solving to address issues and find solutions.  
  • Support colleagues across departments as needed. 
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, complaints, and inquiries.  
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience.  
  • Escalate customer concerns to the appropriate team members when necessary.  
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and adaptability when working with a diverse customer base. 
  • Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.  
  • Manage the Pig Brig Facebook Owners Group through regular monitoring, engaging with posts, and creating content. 
  • Assist in creating video and written content for training and marketing purposes.  
  • Assist with product repairs and manage the return process. 
  • Provide weekend support and share responsibilities with the team.  
  • Participate in-person events where occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in customer-facing roles. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or a related field (Forestry, Ecology). 
  • Comfortable with data analytics and reporting. 
  • Familiarity with the Pig Brig Trapping System is a plus. 
  • Proficient in Google Suite and social media (Facebook). 
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. 
  • Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Passion for conservation and wildlife management. 
  • Willingness to learn new business systems and industry practices.

Bonus Skills:

  • Expertise in feral hog trapping and management. 
  • 1+ year of hands-on trapping experience. 
  • MS in Wildlife Management or related technical experience. 
  • Knowledge of Shopify and ZenDesk.
