This 4' 4" wide x ~59' long heavy-weight interior net replaces a worn-out Boar Shield. It includes the 8 ft. long Easy-Pull Cable Seam.

All netting is treated with UV inhibitors that protect it from ultraviolet degradation.

Care Instructions:
If any of your net products get torn, you can patch them with zip ties or heavy twine.

Have tried most every trap sets up easy and doesn’t limit access to catch, they just keep coming in can’t stand it when there buddy is eating and their not.

The Heavy Duty Boar Shield looks to be a lot heavier built than the original boar shield. It come with carabiner hooks and large plastic zip ties for installation. I chose a different method to install it in my trap. I purchased a roll of braided #72 nylon twine and sewed in the new heavy shield at every square all the way around it.(as shown in pics.) This way sealed up the shield all the way around and will prevent small pigs from getting between the outer net and the Boar Shield. It took about four hours total to sew in the shield but I think it will be worth the extra effort going forward. The trap looks like it's a lot heavier built than before. It's back in the field now and catching hogs. I feel that this new heavy duty shield will hold up to the bigger boars without any issues. The next time I have a boar with 5 in. cutters get into trap I'll let you know how it holds up. Vick/ Tony, Installed new boar shield and baited net. no hogs, just coons. Moved net after about a month, been conditioning for 4 weeks and apparently the hogs are gone. Had several pictures of sounders at this new spot. Will keep trying !!! Regards, Ricky

It’s a little to soon to make a final decision about the bbs. The pigs have not damaged it at all and the javalina have only caused minor fraying. The bbs holds a lot of mud. Making it heavier and possibly causing hogs to be reluctant to go under it. I will continue using it for a while and then try the pig brig without it to verify the results. For now I like it but may come to love it. Pictures will be included in the future

We acquired our PigBrig trap, set it up and had pigs caught, but our pigs evidently were among the rare ones that chew their out of the net. After calling and talking with Ryan about our problem, he sent us a bore shield made of 820 material. This heavier bore shield completely solved the problem. We were able to remove 24 problem pigs and there was no evidence of any attempts to chew through the net.
