These 40-inch Carbon hardened steel stakes are made of 5/8" rods that do not bend when working in hard ground or soil with large rocks (or on the occasion when large pigs fall on them). They weigh a little more but will stand up to those tough field situations.
Our original lighter weight Anchor Stakes are formed out of 1/2" hot-rolled steel and may occasionally bend. While they can be straightened repeatedly, some folks may want a more rugged option.
