Free June Webinar with Dr. Carl Gremse
Learn about Germany's progressive African Swine Fever management program
African swine fever (ASF) is a highly infectious disease affecting domestic pigs and wild boars. It causes severe illness and often results in death in infected animals. The virus is highly contagious and spreads quickly among pig populations. According to the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), ASF is now present in at least 26 countries across Africa, Europe, and Asia, and its spread continues to pose a severe threat to the global pig industry.
In this exclusive webinar featuring Dr. Carl Gremse, a leading African Swine Fever mitigation expert, and hosted by Pig Brig's Dr. Aaron Sumrall, you'll learn:
- - Current state of ASF in Germany
- - Lessons learned during their response and depopulation efforts
- - Methods used to successfully eradicate ASF in Brandenburg
We are excited Dr. Gremse can join us! He is on the front lines and has great applied knowledge. We will have time for questions. Please bring them!
